In the long term, the best way to look good is to lead a healthy lifestyle. Make sure you are getting regular exercise, have a healthy diet, and avoid over indulging in things like alcohol. However, most of us find it a difficult to find the time to do all these things, yet we still want to look good. It has become more and more acceptable to for men to be aware of their appearance, and make put effort into looking good. It is this that has caused the rise in male cosmetic surgery.
The amount of male plastic surgery clinics is on the rise, with more and more men turning to cosmetic medicine in order to alter or enhance the way they look. New Year’s are a time of great psychological change. For many of us, it is the time of the year that we ourselves want to change the person that we became during the previous year. For reasons beyond our own comprehension, we bogged down in work, less adventurous and probably a little more averse to risk. That pretty lady strap hanging on the ride back from work, that lovely man eating his sandwiches on the bench. Something inside of us fluttered, but for some reason we did not go through with our own base conviction.
Such is life in cities where millions people live and yet where each inhabitant barely knows his or her neighbour. We lock ourselves off from the possibilities of the outside world, trying to take comfort from the frivolous around us.
And so maybe it is time for a completely different New Year’s resolution. To take the plunge, to doing something new, something that makes your heart beat a little longer. If there is something missing in your life, than take that first step, put yourself out there. After all, what you have to loose. They can only say yes or no and once you know you can move on with your own life.
To take that first step may seem scary, but that is what is part of the new you this New Year. So go on, act on that resolution and move forward to change your life. You will feel like a new person, shedding the fears of the previous year. That is the fun in dating. You don’t know who you are going to meet, but the possibilities are endless. For one moment you are not quite sure what to expect, but the next, you are whisked along in a whirlwind of excitement and delight. And each time you get to see the city through different eyes. Each date takes you on an adventure that is new to the existence that is yourself. Each date brings in itself new experiences and you can act on that resolution of yours. A new year, a new you and a new dating possibility!

Women have had this rule of scents drummed into them for years but it seems to be a bit slow in catching on for guys. Smell co-ordination may seem like a way for one brand to get all your sales, but there actually is a good reason behind the idea! If you’re doing the whole “I’m going on a date and I’m going to smell good enough to eat” thing, then you want her to be all over you, and not wanting to push you away because there’s so much going on in the scent department, she can’t breathe! Smelling nice is a good thing, but done wrong and it can be too much of a good thing. Read the rest of this entry »

So you’ve got a date, and you’re wondering what to wear. Well at one time it would have been enough to just throw on some clean clothes, hope they match and didn’t have any lingering beer stains. These days women are a little fussier about how their men look however, and so the pressure’s on not only look presentable, but to look well groomed.
Choose what you’re going to wear, make sure that it’s clean and freshly pressed. Even the most expensive and stylish suit will look like a dishcloth if you don’t take the time to ensure that it’s ironed and looking great. Pick out your accessories. Don’t forget to make sure the socks match both with the clothes you’re going to wear – and with each other. Line up your wristwatch, wallet, keys and any jewellery that you intend to take with you so that you don’t forget them. Read the rest of this entry »

I was out drinking in a trendy type London bar at 6pm – the time when all the suits come out from work to briefly play before returning to their homes so they can do their routine and get back to work the next morning. There is nothing like the London summer to bring the best dressed people to come drinking after work. Everyone was looking pretty sharp, and I got chatting to a lady who works for a beauty pr agency. She was a fine looking lady, and Read the rest of this entry »

Metro male: “a term applied to men who display the levels of care and pride in their appearance which is usually associated with women; but who are not deemed to be homo-sexual”
This website caters for two very distinct different groups of people:
1. The metor male themself. Men who are looking to find ways to look after themself and to dress and appear as attractive as possible.
2. Women who are trying to ‘improve’ their boyfriends.
