Drink Cocoa Not Beer

I was out drinking in a trendy type London bar at 6pm – the time when all the suits come out from work to briefly play before returning to their homes so they can do their routine and get back to work the next morning. There is nothing like the London summer to bring the best dressed people to come drinking after work. Everyone was looking pretty sharp, and I got chatting to a lady who works for a beauty pr agency. She was a fine looking lady, and I was feeling on form so I took the opportunity to offer to buy her a drink. She happily took me up on the offer, and when I asked her what she wanted to drink she asked for a hot chocolate. Now whilst I’m not at all bothered by what she wanted to drink, I was a little surprised that she didn’t go for a white wine on this warm day, especially with her working in PR. When I pushed the point a little she said it was to help maintain her good looks! Now I really was interested. Hot chocolate to improve her looks? How is that logical? So she explained.

Apparently drinking cocoa can help protect your skin from the sun and other natural elements, which in turn helps to keep you young looking. I googled it and found another article that agrees that hot cocoa improves skin texture. Apparently that particular bar we were drinking in served proper cocoa drinking chocolate rather than the sweeter stuff that does nothing – which is just as well as her chocolate cost more than my pint!

So there we have it – the top tip for this week. Drinking hot cocoa can be really helpful in keeping your skin in good condition.

Just as an aside for anyone who is interested, I had a really nice evening with the PR lady and kept her out chatting well past when she was planning to stay. It was only after I got her number that I found out that she wasn’t only a homosexual – but a was going out with a biker girl called Sandy! I really know how to pick ‘em. That’s London on at 6pm for you, you get the full range of the working population out.
