Skin Care for Men

Skin Care for Men

The first thing people really see about a person is their face. This applies to men, too, so it’s not a wonder that there’s so many skin care products right now for men, and coming out for men. As with most things, a few simple rules apply that if followed will give the best results, all the time.

First, men’s skin in general tends to be oilier than women’s, so it’s important to take care of that. It’s not necessarily a problem, but it does mean that your face gets dirtier, quicker, so good cleaning and washing is essential, regularly and without using a harsh soap. The more natural the cleanser the better for skin care, and try to avoid anything with bits in it – that almond nut soap may smell great, but those chunks are just damaging your skin, not helping you in any way.

Just as important as cleaning is moisturizing, especially these days. For this an all natural approach is best, so try and use products with the least number of chemicals or additives in it, and use pure aloe vera or vitamin E in liquid forms directly to any problem areas, such as under your eyes. You can use natural chemical peels for acne.

Protecting your skin from the environment will help, so use a lip balm and sun block with an spf of fifteen or over to help protect your skin from the sun.

Keeping in shape will help tighten the skin all over, especially if done on a regular basis.
Simply ensuring you have plenty of vitamin E and C in your diet will go a long way to keeping your skin looking healthy, and avoiding over doing it in areas like alcohol and smoking will take years from your looks, as they both make you look prematurely old.
