Do men need beauty regimens?
I know that most men do not want to talk about skin care or aging. After all men just naturally age gracefully right? Actually men really need to take care of their skin just as well as women if not better. A beauty regimen is the perfect answer for this. I am not talking about walking down the aisle full of pink and purple bottles and putting lavender smelling lotion on your skin.
There are many companies now that have full skin care lines for men. Most of these lines either have no smell at all or have a manly fragrance. There is nothing wrong with a man taking good care of himself and his body. Your skin is included in basic hygiene and is one of the first things that people notice about you. There is a lot of talk about men being metro sexual these days. I just want to say that having a beauty regimen does not mean you are metro. Men who spend a lot of time in the gym and take care of their bodies toning and building muscle are not considered metro right?
So taking care of your skin and your hygiene should not be considered metro either. If you take the time to take care of yourself I promise that the women in your life will take notice. If you are one of those men that are always in a hurry and think that you have no time for skin care that is not true. You can wash your face in the shower, shave, use toner, and then put on moisturizer. Chances are this is just adding one step to your routine. Most toners contain alcohol and there for can be used instead of your aftershave. So next time you think I would like to take better care of my skin but I don’t have time remember that you do. Your skin will thank you by aging more gracefully.
