Fall 2011 Men’s Suit Trends

December 23rd, 2011 posted by easmgr

Fall is still in swing and with the change in season so too will we have a change in the styles of men’s suits men should be wearing. I am from Surrey and I am sure that suits are among the things that men have in their closets. Any man who wants to look good and be up to date with the current style must be paying attention with the trends. It is true that some of the trends may be a bit too elaborate for some men but there will be something for everyone.

Men in Surrey, after working all day at our oak windows surrey installation, and other jobs, do also go out to formal events where a nice suit will need to be worn. So for the fall of 2011, there’s a wave of fitted cut suits that take into account factors like slim waist, broad shoulders and slim trousers. In terms of styles, the single breasted is never out of the picture and this can be in sleek cut or confident cut. The double breasted suit style accents the V-shape of men amazingly. A breast pocket and peaked lapels will make it perfect.

Meanwhile, the three-piece suit still goes for a fluid look that includes similar color palette or pattern for the three pieces. As the slim-cut trend comes in, find a waistcoat with V shape that separates somewhere between the rib cage base and the sternum.

Trending patterns for the season include Damier Check, Glen Urquhart, Rope-Stripe, Pinstripe, Harris Tweed and Herringbone. Let your taste take care of the number of buttons for your suit. The whole of the 2011 fall season is about the trending of the 1970’s fashion style but not for men’s suits. So bell bottom pants and leisure suits are not in.
