Achieving the perfect toned gym body takes many things, hard work, dedication and time. Unfortunately the last of these is often in short supply, particularly for those working in the city. So what do you do if you can’t find the time to escape the recruitment software but still want to get a decent workout? The answer can be found in the form of a Swiss ball and a dumbbell.

The great advantage of using these balls is that you can isolate specific muscles getting a more efficient workout. This saves time and effort and can lead to great results. A preacher curl over a Swiss ball for example will give much more impressive results than your standard bicep curl. If you have one of these balls to hand you can also workout every part of your body from your legs right up to your shoulders. The Swiss ball also provides the added advantage of working your core muscles in conjunction to the ones targeted by requiring balance while exercising. Balance translates as abbs and a strong lower back, working on the ball will help develop these two areas whilst you’re working on something else.

The other advantage of using a Swiss ball is that they are undoubtedly more fun to use than any other piece of gym equipment. While you may be thinking that this isn’t of major importance, enjoying your work out is crucial. You will work harder and for longer if you enjoy what you do. So Swiss balls can save you time by working several areas of the body at once, and get you enjoying your workout routine more. Above are a few examples of what can be done with a Swiss ball and if like so many people you are pushed for time but still want to look good, this is a good way to get an advanced workout without spending hours in the gym.
